When in Texas, seeing a cattle drive and enjoying a good steak is a must. The Fort Worth Stockyards allows you to see cowhands up close and personal. The Longhorn hang around all day, but you can see the action daily at 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Other things to do include:
- Dinosaur Valley Park – Walk in the paths of dinosaurs at this exciting park. You can also enjoy hiking, biking, and camping.
- Lake Mineral Wells State Park & Trailway – If you love a good hike, you have 20 miles of beautiful, old railway to travel along. Visitors love cycling and rock climbing there too.
- Trinity River Trail – This trail is 18 miles long and connects to quite a few of the city’s waterfronts and parks.
